Vice Chair Kelly introduced a motion to amend the report to update the Departmental Implications section with comment from Planning, Development and Building Services. Following discussion, the Committee carried the report recommendations as presented.Report Recommendation(s) That Agriculture and Rural Affairs Committee recommend Council approve: that, given the context of the corridor, the McBean Street Resurfacing project scope of work be limited to widening the sidewalks and resurfacing the roadway; and that the McBean Street cycling project be removed from the 2023 Transportation Master Plan Active Transportation Project List and the 2024 Provisional DC Background Study, resulting in removal of DC funding for the cycling project.
