Approve the Funding Policy Statement (Document 1) and delegate authority to the Director, Children’s Services, to manage and administer the Canada-Wide Early Learning and Child Care System and associated budget as detailed in this report and allocate all funding according to the Funding Policy Statement provided such allocations are in accordance with Provincial guidelines, within approved budgets and where applicable in accordance with the strategic priorities in the Child Care and Early Yeas Service System Plan. Approve the creation of up to 15 full-time equivalent (FTE) positions for which $1.2 million in funding is available from the Canada-Wide Early Learning and Child Care System (Provincial funding).
