That the Ottawa Police Services Board approve payment of $6,595.27 (including HST) to the Ontario Association of Police Services Boards for its 2022 membership fee.

DELEGATION OF AUTHORITY FOR FLEET REPLACEMENT PROGRAM AND FACILITIES CAPITAL ORDER AMALGAMATION

1.    Approve the delegation of authority to the Chief of Police to execute and administer the 2022 Fleet Replacement Program, up to a maximum of $4.5 million, and

2.    Transfer the $5.0 million in capital order 909876 South – Comms/911 and the $4.0 million in capital order 909877 South – IM/IT to capital order 903447 Facility Acquisition - South Phase 1.

APPOINTMENT OF SPECIAL CONSTABLE: OTTAWA POLICE SERVICE

 

Chief's report

 

That the Ottawa Police Services Board approve the appointment of the Ottawa Police Service employee Morgan WYCHE as Special Constable pursuant to Section 53 of the Police Services Act, in accordance with the terms and conditions set forth in the attached Approval of Appointment Form.

TELUS COMMUNICATIONS INC. WIRELESS SERVICES CONTRACT

 

Chief's report

 

That the Ottawa Police Services Board delegate authority to the Chief for the purchase of wireless services renewal from TELUS Communications Inc. for a three-year term from 1 January 2022 until 31 December 2024 at an approximate total value of $3,362,000.00 excluding non-refundable taxes.
